Yes. Hulk Hogan, whose legal name was Terry Bollea, died on July 24, 2025, at age 71. WFLA reported, citing court documents obtained by Us Weekly and TMZ, that his will was signed in 2016 and amended several times through 2023, and that it names his son Nick as sole beneficiary of an estate of about $5 million in probate assets. Much less is public about any trust. I found no reliable net worth figure from Forbes or a court record.

Little is public. Hogan’s will was filed in a Florida probate court, which makes parts of it public. Whatever trust he had is private. I checked the facts below against the outlets listed at the bottom on October 7, 2026, and I haven’t repeated claims that no outlet sourced.

## Did Hulk Hogan have a will?

Yes. WFLA reported that his will was executed in 2016 and amended multiple times between 2017 and 2023, based on court documents obtained by Us Weekly and TMZ. I haven’t read the will itself, and WFLA is not a court record, so treat the details as reported rather than confirmed.

Wealth Management, a trade publication, wrote in July 2025 that the details of the will weren’t yet known and that Hogan reportedly also had a revocable trust. A trust usually keeps its terms out of public view and can hold assets outside probate. I haven’t seen his.

## Who inherits Hulk Hogan’s estate?

According to the reported court documents, his son Nick Hogan is the sole beneficiary of the estate that went through probate. WFLA reported that Nick filed papers to serve as co-personal representative of the estate.

His daughter, Brooke Hogan, wasn’t listed as a beneficiary. WFLA reported she wasn’t expected to receive anything from the estate, as part of her wish to be removed from the will in 2023. His widow is Sky Daily Hogan, NBC News reported. Nothing I loaded says what, if anything, she receives through a trust or other arrangement. I haven’t seen anything that says whether anyone has challenged the will.

## What was Hulk Hogan’s net worth when he died?

I couldn’t find a Forbes figure or a court record that states his net worth, so I won’t give you one.

The probate filing, as WFLA described it, lists about $5 million: $200,000 in cryptocurrency, $799,000 in personal and intellectual property, and a right of publicity valued at $4 million, plus an unspecified amount tied to a possible medical malpractice claim. Wealth Management put the estate at about $25 million, including Clearwater real estate it valued above $11 million, but it didn’t cite a document for that number.

The two numbers can both be true. A probate filing lists what’s titled in the person’s own name. Property held in a trust or a company doesn’t appear there. Under the will as reported, the probate assets go to Nick. Where the rest goes depends on trust documents that aren’t public.

## Is there a legal fight over Hulk Hogan’s estate?

Not over the will, as far as I can find. The court activity I found concerns his medical care.

The Tampa Bay Times reported in October 2025 that Hogan’s estate asked a Pinellas County court to extend the time to file a malpractice lawsuit. WFLA reported that Sky Daily and Nicholas Bollea asked for a 90-day extension, and that the request involved Morton Plant Hospital and Tampa General Hospital. No one had been accused of wrongdoing. NBC News later reported that Clearwater police closed their investigation, that the autopsy found he died from natural disease, and that police found no evidence of criminal wrongdoing.

## What this means for your own plan

WFLA reported that Hogan’s will was amended multiple times between 2017 and 2023. That’s normal. Families change.

- **Keep the plan current after a remarriage.** A new spouse can have rights your old documents ignore. See [blended family estate planning](https://ridleylawoffices.com/blended-family-estate-planning/), [disinheriting a spouse in California](https://ridleylawoffices.com/disinherit-spouse-california/), and [what a surviving spouse can change](https://ridleylawoffices.com/can-surviving-spouse-change-trust-california/).
- **A will is public, a funded trust usually isn’t.** Hogan’s will reached a public file. Compare [whether a will is a public record](https://ridleylawoffices.com/is-a-will-public-record-california/) with [trust funding](https://ridleylawoffices.com/trust-funding/).
- **A beneficiary can say no, but only the right way.** Reports say Brooke asked to be taken out of the will. Leaving someone out needs clear drafting. [Disinheriting someone in a California will](https://ridleylawoffices.com/can-i-disinherit-someone-in-my-will-in-california/) explains how.
- **Your name and image are property.** The filing reportedly valued Hogan’s right of publicity at $4 million. [Estate planning for creators and public figures](https://ridleylawoffices.com/estate-planning-for-content-creators-california/) covers who should control it.
